Cycle Every film is a small victory: And now the revolution
On Monday, December 15, 2025, at 6 p.m., the Ponrepo cinema (Bartolomějská 11, Prague 1) will host a film evening from the series Every Film Is a Small Victory: And Now the Revolution, focusing on the cinematic and historical ties between Czechoslovakia and Chile. You can look forward to a series of short films Viva Chile, Předehra (Prelude) and Venceremos, followed by the feature film Dlouhá cesta (The Long Journey) at 8:30 p.m.
The short film program will be followed by a discussion in English with filmmaker and researcher Luis Horta (Cineteca de la Universidad de Chile) and film historian Petr Hasan (National Film Archive).
The program is organised in cooperation with the Institute for Contemporary History of the Czech Academy of Sciences, with the support of the Academy of Sciences and the AV 21 Strategy program.
