The publication outputs of the Institute’s staff are made available through the on-line database ASEP (repository of results of scientific work of the Czech Academy of Sciences). ASEP contains bibliographical records of the publishing activities of the institutes of the Czech Academy of Sciences and operates under the directive of Academic Council No. 4/2003 on the creation and use of the academic database ASEP. The ASEP entries serve as the source for the yearly export of selected data into the RIV database (Information Register of Research and Development results). A software extension ASEP Analytics provides analytical records. Bibliographical, statistical and graphic overviews of material that cannot be displayed directly in the catalogue can be drawn up for individual institutes and authors of the Czech Academy of Sciences with this software.
Forms for depositing the datasets into the ASEP depository
All the forms and documents required for depositing material into the ASEP/RIV, along with a thorough description, are available here and here and can be downloaded. Detailed information concerning the ASEP depository and related issues is published and regularly updated on the Library of the CAS website here.
