Cycle Every Film Is a Small Victory: History, Land, Film
On Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 7:30 p.m., the Ponrepo Cinema (Bartolomějská 11, Prague 1) will host another film evening from the series Every Film Is a Small Victory: History, Land, Film, focusing on the film-historical ties between Czechoslovakia, the Czech Republic, and Palestine. The short television film A Week Under Occupation and the Oscar-winning documentary No Other Land will be screened.
The guests of the evening are director and costume designer Samiha Maleh, filmmaker Zaher Jureidini, and anthropologist Yasar Abu Ghosh from FHS UK. The screening is English-friendly.
The program is organized in cooperation with the Institute for Contemporary History of the Czech Academy of Sciences, with the support of the Academy of Sciences and the AV 21 Strategy program.
