Conference Trauma, Hope, and Illusion
The international conference explores the end of World War II and the post-war transformation of towns and villages within the Czech and European contexts. The conference will create space for an interdisciplinary dialogue and the presentation of current scientific projects.

Organised to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, this international conference is primarily hosted by the Museum of Prague in collaboration with the Institute of Contemporary History of the CAS, the Museum of Memory of the 20th Century, the Faculty of Education of Charles University, the National Theatre, and the Czech Association of Museums and Galleries.
