Mezi solidaritou a zklamáním. Česko v době covidové a postcovidové

Přemysl Houda

The COVID‑19 pandemic was a total social phenomenon: a time of acute as well as less acute crises, but also a period that can tell us a great deal about the functioning of institutions and individuals alike—especially when viewed in retrospect. What have we learned about our society over those few short years? Did we withstand the test?

Can we hope that, as a society, we will be able to cope with whatever future crises may come, or should we rather look ahead with concern? These are the questions addressed in the present volume, which is the outcome of a collaborative research project on Czech society during the COVID‑19 pandemic conducted by historians, psychologists, and sociologists of the Czech Academy of Sciences.
