Seminar: Jewish, Romani and Interethnic Families
Dovolujeme si Vás pozvat v úterý 29. 6. 2021 od 17 hodin do studovny ÚSD ve Vlašské, kde se uskuteční diskuze nad dvěma knihami s propojenými tématy. Jedna z knih je Jewish and Romani Families in the Holocaust and Its Aftermath (Rutgers University Press, 2021), kterou vydala Kateřina Čapková s Eliyanou Adler, druhou pak Intermarriage from Central Europe to Central Asia. Mixed Families in the Age of Extremes (Nebraska University Press, 2020) vydaná Adriennou Edgar a Benjaminem Frommerem.
Diskuze se zúčastní Benjamin Frommer a Kateřina Čapková, moderovat ji bude Michal Frankl a proběhne v angličtině. Jedná se o prezentaci v rámci semináře moderních židovských dějin, které ÚSD pořádá od roku 2013, nově ve spolupráci s Masarykovým ústavem a Archivem AV ČR a s Pražským centrem židovských studií při FF UK. Díky zoomu bude přenášena i online a je tedy možné se jí zúčastnit vzdáleným přístupem. Odkaz naleznete zde.

Book presentation of two volumes with entangled topics: Intermarriage from Central Europe to Central Asia. Mixed Families in the Age of Extremes (edited and introduced by Adrienne Edgar and Benjamin Frommer) and Jewish and Romani Families in the Holocaust and Its Aftermath (edited and introduced by Eliyana Adler and Kateřina Čapková).
